TUPA
Cairu is a municipality - archipelago that is inserted in an Area of Environmental Protection (APA Tinharé - Boipeba) that has more than 400 years of history, besides a vast cultural wealth. When paying the Archipelago's Use of Heritage Fee (TUPA) in the amount of R$ 15,00, you are collaborating to maintain and preserve this patrimony.
Children under 5 years and people over 60 do not pay the rate. Students, people with special needs and people enrolled in low-income social programs will be entitled to the half-entry, provided that they prove these conditions. Researchers of the fauna and flora of the municipality are also exempt, upon verification.
TUPA is charged upon arrival in Morro de São Paulo.
